How to find your iPhone UDID

Your UDID is the device identifier needed to register your iPhone or iPad for an Apple Developer certificate. CertDrop uses it to generate certificate files that work on your exact device.

Method 1: Finder on Mac

  1. Connect your iPhone or iPad to your Mac.
  2. Open Finder and select your device in the sidebar.
  3. Click the device info line until the UDID appears.
  4. Copy the UDID exactly and use it in your CertDrop order.

Method 2: iTunes on Windows

  1. Connect your iPhone or iPad to your Windows PC.
  2. Open iTunes and select your device.
  3. Click the serial number field until it changes to UDID.
  4. Copy the UDID exactly.
