Acceptable Use Policy
Use CertDrop for apps you own, develop, test, or have permission to install.
Last updated August 14, 2026. CertDrop provides certificate-related files and setup support. This policy explains what is allowed, what is not allowed, and when an order or support request may be refused.
Permitted use
Personal testing, developer workflows, internal demos, and compatible apps you have the right to install.
IPA library sources
The library separates verified official open-source releases from allowlisted third-party sources. Third-party entries are independently supplied and are not created, owned, verified, or endorsed by CertDrop. Arbitrary customer URLs are not accepted.
Device matched
Certificate profile files are prepared around the device information submitted during checkout.
Allowed uses
- Your own apps: apps you created, maintain, or are testing.
- Client or team testing: apps you are authorized to test or install for development or review.
- Personal compatible installs: apps you have permission to use on your own device.
- Learning and setup: understanding certificate files, provisioning profiles, UDID registration, and installation steps.
Prohibited uses
- No piracy or unauthorized access: do not use CertDrop with apps, content, accounts, or services you do not have permission to use.
- No malware or abuse: do not use CertDrop for spyware, phishing, credential theft, device compromise, spam, or deceptive activity.
- No resale of CertDrop delivery: do not present CertDrop files, support, or delivery as your own certificate service.
- No payment abuse: do not use fake details, intentionally incorrect emails, stolen payment methods, or repeated unpaid checkout attempts.
- No circumvention claims: do not use CertDrop to advertise or promise access to paid, restricted, or unavailable third-party apps.
Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the email address, device UDID, and order details you submit. You are also responsible for confirming that you have the right to install and use any app you choose to sign.
CertDrop can help with certificate delivery and setup steps, but it cannot guarantee the behavior of third-party signing tools, third-party apps, or platform changes outside CertDropās control.
Orders we may refuse or cancel
- Orders with obviously fake or unreachable contact details.
- Orders connected to prohibited activity or misleading claims.
- Orders with invalid, incomplete, or suspicious UDID information.
- Repeated attempts to start checkout without completing payment.
- Requests that ask CertDrop to help distribute or obtain unauthorized apps.
