Refund Policy
Fair refunds for failed delivery, duplicate payments, and order issues.
Last updated August 14, 2026. CertDrop sells digital certificate delivery. Because the files are prepared for a specific device, refund handling depends on whether delivery has started, whether the files were delivered, and what caused the issue.
Before generation
If you contact us before certificate generation starts, cancellation is usually possible.
Delivery failure
If CertDrop cannot deliver the certificate files and cannot provide a working replacement, you may be eligible for a refund.
After delivery
Delivered digital certificate files are generally not refundable unless there is a CertDrop delivery or warranty issue.
Refunds we usually approve
- Duplicate payment: you paid twice for the same intended order.
- Failed delivery: payment succeeded but CertDrop cannot generate or deliver the certificate files.
- Cancellation before work starts: you request cancellation before certificate generation begins.
- CertDrop-caused order issue: the delivered files do not match the order details submitted and verified by CertDrop.
Cases that are usually not refundable
- Incorrect UDID after generation: the certificate profile is tied to the submitted device identifier.
- Changed device: a certificate prepared for one device cannot automatically move to a different device.
- Third-party app behavior: CertDrop does not control third-party signing apps or the apps customers choose to install.
- Unsupported or prohibited use: orders connected to activity outside the acceptable use policy are not eligible.
- Change of mind after delivery: digital files that were successfully delivered are considered used once accessed.
30-day warranty support
CertDrop includes 30 days of warranty support for certificate delivery issues. If a delivered certificate-related file stops working for a certificate reason during that period, contact support. We may troubleshoot, re-send files, or provide a replacement when possible.
If we cannot resolve a valid CertDrop delivery issue, we will review refund eligibility.
What to include
- Order email
- Order ID if available
- Device UDID used at checkout
- A screenshot or exact error message
- Whether you paid by card or crypto
How refunds are sent
Card refunds are returned through the card processor and may take several business days after approval. Crypto refunds depend on the payment provider, network fees, and technical availability. When a crypto refund is possible, we may ask for confirmation of the return address before sending it.
