Digital delivery: certificate files are delivered by email with no physical shipping. Generated certificate files are not returnable, but CertDrop helps with delivery, resend, and replacement issues.
What a .p12 certificate is
- A .p12 file stores the signing certificate used by IPA signing tools.
- For iPhone sideloading, the .p12 must match the provisioning profile and your device UDID.
- CertDrop sends the .p12 file with the password needed to import it into supported signing tools.

Before you order
- Make sure your iPhone or iPad UDID is copied correctly.
- Use the same device UDID you plan to install signed apps on.
- If you are using ESign, Feather, Scarlet, or another signer, import both the .p12 file and mobileprovision profile.
